Am I vain??

My postings are all sorts of backwards and stuff. I wanted to post a my Day look from last Saturday along with my night look but I got so excited over my night look, I couldn't wait for these pix to come from my sister Contessa, a true Fashion Snob, so I just posted the night look without the day look.
So forgive a bitch for repeating photos but who cares...I'm reposting my nighttime pics anyway because I can.

Day Mama
Night Mama

ok..i am officially over it.

Sweetface

I will always be a fan of my girl Jennifer Lopez. I did go bonkers when she came out with her Sweetface clothing line that went absolutely nowhere fast.

Sorry JLo..your shit was cute.

Last Friday, I stumbled upon a Sweetface sample sale and went in. I mean I literally went in! I got 2 shopping bags full of everything Sweetface and a few things Jlo for 75 bucks. It was so oppressively hot that day that I didn't take one single photograph of anything. All i wanted to do was slap someone. So as I wear the clothes I'll take pics and post.
For now all I have worn was the jeans in the above video. I love flaired jeans as much as I love skinny leg jeans. As long as the jeans make the booty look nice, I'm good with them. Call me vain but no one wants a pancake ass, even the girls who have them.
sorry to all the pancakes out there...just wear loose fitting jeans and dresses :)
Thanks to my camera man...you know who you is!

Brother and Sister...but more brother

Meet Jon Porkchopula aka my damn brother.
His birthday was July 28th and I couldn't post that day.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROTHER!

I had a big old fancy post that I planned out and then when the actual day of his birthday rolled around I was beyond busy and couldn't post my big old fancy post!

Love you

Mannequin

My vintage disco pants make me sooo much happier than the American Apparel navy disco pants I bought last winter. The AA ones feel like a huge ass pair of Spanx. Yuck. I think I'll sell them.
These babies feel like soft, luscious jeans. I had to man up in order to get from my house to the subway in this outfit but I got there with a bunch of stares and only one smart ass comment from some girl who said, " I wish I would" while staring straight at me but talking to her friend. I just smiled and shook my ass a lil harder.

Nureyev - Le Corsaire.. I will always love you

Rudolf Nureyev was the highest, most exalted ballet dancer in my mind.
The beauty and grace he brought fourth on the stage and in his life period are unparalleled.
The bulge in his pants don't hurt either.
Hayyyyy Rudolf.

This Weekend

was hotter than the crack of your ass so I did what I do best when I'm outside.
Hunted for any and all things vintage, look for street art, try and find the elusive Africa tag and secretly take pictures of people who's look makes me scream out loud and grab my chest.

So, Shawn and I hit the street for a bit this weekend and came across some interesting finds.

*random street art..i feel like i say this quite often*

*Disjointed Audrey*
*Random Door Frame*
*Spotted this mural and Shawn went crazy*
*It was pretty*

No, we didn't plan on being color coordinated at all. I have no idea what that was about.
Shawn, are you stalking me again!?! STOP IT! I'm not your girl for goodness sake!

Anyway, it was so hot that people were dressed for comfort, not for fashion. I did stumble across this little cutie. The Japanese always dress for fashion no matter what. I did almost pass out when I saw her shoes close up. The first picture I snapped was totally a sneak shot because I'm not yer totally comfy with going up and asking people if I can take their picture...mainly because I have no real reason besides this lil old blog and my general love of fashion and no damn business cards to save my life to give anyone should they ask why I want to take their picture. Some people can be very bitchy about some random person snapping them up. Generally the Japanese get it and are over the moon when asked.

*the shoes look painful to wear but my goodness are they fly*
