I'm Alive

even after i sweated about 10 pound off this morning during my very first Hot Yoga session. I am a newbie to regular old Yoga anyway, which I love love love by the way, so I thought I'd take it a step further by Hot Yogga-ing it up at a 6:30 am class this morning.
You walk into a room that feels a bit warm but to me all Yoga rooms feel like a sweat box before you even do one pose. Hot Yoga is an entirely different kinda of hot. It's jungle hot and
kind of scary considering that you are not allowed to leave the room during the 90 minute session.
I told my friend that I was taking it and she was like,"Girl, you crazy! How hot do they heat the room? I said, "I think to 130 degrees." She said,"WHAT?!?.. You Gotta be kidding me"
Honestly, I really did think that somewhere I heard that they heat the room up to 130 degrees but it's really to like 110 or something.
I already sweat like I wear leather in Jamaica during regular yoga. So you can imagine the slippery sweat that was a fallin during this stuff. I thought I would faint and or throw up in that damn room. It sort of feels like you are being locked in a steam room sans the steam.
So there we were, KC, SG and me. KC is is most experienced the realm of Yoga. SG and I are novices..totally and the least flexible. I can't even touch my damn toes. it was a good feeling to know that I had a non flexible bond with SG. I was a tad bit tight that the two white girls in the class were flexible fannies all day long. They were posing like Madonna. Oye Vay....maybe one day Court.
The Yoga instructor kept telling us to focus and our eyes in the mirror only I couldn't see my eyes cuz I didn't have on my glasses or contacts so I focused on this.

Don't ask me why.

Anyway, I made it through and walked all the way to work after with a pep in my step. I did feel like my legs were a bit cock with it too.
Aren't you supposed to feel like you have tons of energy after such a sweaty workout? If so, why do I want to crawl under my desk, behind the bubble wrap and fall fast asleep?
